Meraki:
mer-ah-kee (V)
To do something with soul, creativity, and love; when you leave a piece of yourself in your work. A labor of Love.
Vision
We want to see our club program be nationally competitive, while growing strong local roots in community on and off the volleyball court.
Mission
To educate, inspire, and be of service to our athletes, coaches, and parents through our program.
Values / Behaviors
Be a good teammate (Community): This is our community pillar / constraint. Below are the 2 MAJOR behaviors we want to talk to the teams about.
Help your teammates up: If a player is on the ground post dive, game play, TEAMMATES HELP THEM UP.
PDA - Public Displays of Appreciation.: We want to make sure when people / teammates do well that we call that out, finger points for good sets, or digs or kills are great examples.
Work Hard (What we Do)
We go for every ball: Self explanatory
Ask yourself "what's next": We are looking to have players thinking about the future and planning, this is a behavior we are going to ask them if they are doing.
Believe (How we THINK)
Be a Jungle Tiger: This means that we are not scared of failure, we use it to learn from mistakes and grow.
No CAN'Ts only cans and YET.
