Travel Season - 2024-2025

Girls and Boys

The Process

The whole process to get onto a club volleyball team can be very confusing, we are going to work hard to make sure that you understand how things work. Be sure to ask questions if you don’t understand something after reading through our page.

Location - Bedford, NH

Our program runs all our travel teams practices and tryouts out of the NH Sportsplex in Bedford, NH. The location is easy to get to from the highway and a great central hub for us.

NH Sportsplex: 68 Technology Dr, Bedford, NH 03110

Types of Teams

Each club has different ways of naming their team tiers, we have decided to use the following designators. If you tryout for a Northeast team, and don’t make it, you are automatically considered for a Regional team. You will not need to re-register, however we will ask you to attend another tryout to see you with other players in that tier.

Northeast Teams: This level has more practice time and more events further away, and costs more money.

Regional Teams: This level has practice once a week and attends 5 events.

Which Team to Tryout For?

These are the teams we are able to offer this season, we will not be able to “Add” teams. If we are able to make changes to our offerings you will be notified if the change pertains to you. If you are more visual there is a table below that can help you find the correct age group.

Register for Tryouts

Now that you know what team you want to tryout for, you will need to register to tryout for the team. To do this you will need to make an account with our registration / communication application PlayMetrics.

If there are any updates or changes to the tryouts or any program you attend we will notify you via email through PlayMetrics.

The cost of tryouts is $40, but there is an early bird discount if you register before 6/1/24

Attending Tryouts

At tryouts, the process is fairly simple. Athletes and parents will check-in approximately 15-30 min before the starting time of the tryout. At check-in we will double check to see that you have the following.

  1. Registered via PlayMetrics

  2. Double Check Registration Information

  3. Tryout Number, which athletes will pin to their backs.

  4. Informational flyer, which will include information about next steps.

Parents are welcome to stay for the tryout or go get some work done at a local cafe. There is wifi available on-site.

After checking in athletes will start warming up until we start the tryout.

Making a Team

Offer Emails will be given at the end of BOTH Tryout dates, some athletes will receive offers on Day 1 others on Day 2. From the time you receive the offer, you have 24 hours to accept your spot before we move onto the next athlete.

Athletes will receive offers to join the program via PlayMetrics, where you will be asked to put down a deposit of $500 to accept your place on the team. Athletes can decline or accept the offer to join the program.

If they have questions about the offer, they should simply reach out to our Director to discuss the offer - mac@merakivolleyball.com

If an athlete doesn’t receive an offer email they will receive either,

  1. Waitlist Email - This email means that we are still in the deliberation process and you still may make the team. Usually the process of being on the waitlist will last 48 hours. We will keep you updated via email.

  2. Decline Email - This emails means that we don’t have enough room for you on the teams this season. However we suggest signing up for academies and other program to improve and tryout again next season!

You Made a Team!

Now that you have made a team, you will be added to the team on PlayMetrics where you can manage payments, and see all the team events. You will receive detailed instructions on how to proceed from there via email.

If you have any questions about this process we are here to help, please email us at info@merakivolleyball.com
